At Herberia Primitiva, each product is naturopath-formulated and handcrafted season by season to support our health, balance body, mind, and spirit, and deepen our rooted relationship with the Earth.
Our potent botanical ingredients are mostly sourced from Tenerife and the lands where I grew up. Organically grown and ethically harvested from ecological farms, these plant extractions honor both their cultural heritage and therapeutic value, while supporting the resilience of local agriculture and economies. My hope is that Primitiva’s offerings bring the power of plants into your daily life – nurturing health, well-being, and harmony for body, spirit, and Earth alike.

The apothecary embraces the full spectrum of whole-plant medicine—from skin-care balms to supplements, tinctures, herbal powders, dried blends, hydrolates, and aromatic specialties from the garden. Each offering is handcrafted in limited, seasonal editions, guided by a 100% organic approach.

Harvesting is ethical and attentive, respecting each plant’s balsamic moment and its capacity to regenerate. Whenever possible, I work with wild herbs, preserving the full complexity of their active principles through traditional, low-temperature processing methods.
Small and local is the way – a slow, alchemical process guided by nature.

I meticulously grow and ethically source all ingredients by hand directly from my home-garden and from small, organic cultivators I have relationship withThis commitment ensure potency and purity with unwavering dedication to the earth-care movement free of pesticides, petrolats or chimicals.

From the founder

For over a decade, my passions for medicinal herbs and healing practices has guided my path leading me to different countries – Australia, India, Costa Rica, Hawaii. What began as a personal response to living with sensitive, atopic, reactive skin has blossomed into a small, artisanal botanical body care line: Herberia Primitiva.

Today, I am a naturopath, a professional massage therapist (Makanani.es), and still a researcher – the alquemist behind Herberia and the El Alambique project.

This work continues the way I was raised: growing food and medicine, preserving and transforming each harvest, honoring the cyclical rhythms of nature and serving the community. It is how my mother and grandmother have always cared for our family and those around us in Southern Italy.

The traditional, sun-powered herbalist way feels different on the skin. Once you experience it, you’ll understand.
